PAYCE Managing Director, Brian Boyd said PAYCE is thrilled to continue its long association with the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship, as the new title sponsor for this year's popular sports car series.

"PAYCE has had an involvement with the one-make category for several years, both through its support of a number of drivers, including 2017 champion, David Wall, and as a partner of the series," Brian Boyd said.

"We had a great season as a major sponsor last year and were pleased to accept the opportunity to become the series naming sponsor for 2019.

"The Carrera Cup is a professionally run series and is a pleasure to be associated through our expanded partnership for yet another year.

Brian explained that the Porsche PAYCE Carrera Cup Australia Championship comprises eight rounds at tracks around the country, starting with the Adelaide 500 meeting in late February/early March and culminating with the season finale at the Newcastle 500 meeting in November.

"Other high-profile meetings include the Formula 1 Australian GP, the Bathurst 1000 and Gold Coast 600," Brian said.

"I'm really looking forward to seeing the series get underway, with a number of name drivers continuing or returning to take on some fresh, young talent in both the Pro and Pro-am classes.

"It's also great news that the longer distance Endurance Cup races will once again be part of the season program that includes fresh tracks such as Townsville and The Bend," Brian Boyd finished.
