David Wall Seeking Goals at the Gold Coast - Brian Boyd

Brian said reigning Pro class champion, David Wall came into the final round with a number of goals in mind.

"First was to close up on the championship leader although he could not catch him, second was to take home the Endurance Cup and third was to take out the award for most poles in the season.

"His quest started well with two strong practice sessions and topped them off with fastest time in qualifying, thereby fulfilling the first of the three goals, as top pole-sitter for the season," Brian Boyd continued.

"James Moffat in the #38 Porsche was impressive in practice two with second fastest time, but unable to follow up in qualifying and had to settle for eighth spot."

"James was caught up in battles that saw him fluctuate between seventh and eighth positions until he was bumped back to 14th before droving strongly to recover with a top ten finish in 9th place," Brian Boyd added.
